Women Leadership in Biotech Summer Webinar Series: #1 – Addressing Imposter Syndrome in Biotech Leadership and How to Mitigate it

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, business woman, Sheryl Sandberg, actress Viola Davis have all expressed publicly that at some point in their lives they felt imposter syndrome. In fact, it has been reported that 75% of high-achieving women experience imposter syndrome at some point in their careers. We kick off the Women Leadership in Biotech series examining what Imposter Syndrome is, why it exists, the role workplace systems can play in fostering it, other environmental causes, what to look for, how to manage and mitigate it.
