Entrepreneur Spotlight: The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center’s annual “Shark Tank” style event

Join us for a unique networking event, which is free of charge, to watch ‘Shark-Tank’ style pitches from three new startup companies located at the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC), followed by breakout sessions for each company. The three companies are: (1) EcoGenome, a life science company dedicated to the development of prognostic and predictive tests that will enhance personalized treatment strategies for cancer patients, to improve outcomes, and reduce costs; (2) Mid-Atlantic Bio, which is working to bring novel immunotherapies to market, targeting multiple infectious disease indications with high unmet medical need, like rabies and coronaviruses; and (3) Gene Lancet Biosciences, a gene-editing company that owns a novel guide RNA (lgRNA) of distinct intellectual property designed for use in RNA-guided endonucleases as gene editing tools and human therapeutics.
