Halloran Town Hall | Hybrid Models and the Path to Designing Patient-Centric Clinical Trials
February 25, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Patient centricity, at its core, is bringing the voice of the patient into clinical trial design right from the start to ensure the trial can achieve its objectives and endpoints while also creating a positive experience for the patients and their families. But what patient-centricity really means and what it looks like in trial design is commonly misunderstood, and unfortunately, there are major risks for sponsors and patients when the understanding isn’t aligned.
Please join our Halloran-hosted virtual Town Hall on February 25th from 11-12 pm ET on “Hybrid Models and the Path to Designing Patient-Centric Clinical Trials” to align on the opportunities and value of building patient-centric principles into hybrid clinical trials.
This discussion will be led by team members at Halloran and joined by clinical operations executives and a patient to bring perspective to the following:
Defining patient centricity in clinical trial design and the risks of poor implementation
How hybrid model trials and technology elevate patient centricity tactics in clinical trial design
Hear a patient’s perspective about how hybrid trials are less burdensome
Understand strategies, tactics, and tools sponsor companies can use regardless of their budget
Identify common missteps sponsors make in designing their studies that might undermine patient centricity
The Panel:
Jennie Sheridan, Halloran Consulting Group, Moderator
John Ferraro, Halloran Consulting Group
Jane Myles, VP, Clinical Trial Innovation, Curebase
Mari Maurer, Vice President of Clinical Operations, Escape Bio
Alicia C. Staley, VP of Patient Engagement, Medidata Solutions
