Halloran Town Hall: Relieving the Recruitment Challenge with Smarter Study Design
September 10, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Acquiring the appropriate patient population and data for a clinical trial is no easy task, especially when that disease population is small or when data collection is complex. The recent expansion of virtual clinical trials landscape has created new recruiting opportunities; however, recruitment remains an ongoing challenge and a common reason for study failure. Moreover, clinical trials are becoming increasingly complex, requiring the collection of large volumes of data. This can place an excessive burden on the patient, impacting initial recruitment, the dropout rate, and the quality of the data.
So how do you ensure that your clinical study has a solid chance of success in finding and attracting the right patient population? Then once you have, how can you be sure you collect the right amount of high-quality data to achieve statistically and clinically meaningful outcomes? Well, it begins with rethinking your approach to study design.
Please join us on Friday, September 10th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET for our Virtual Town Hall “Relieving the Recruitment Challenge with Smarter Study Design,” led by Meaghan Powers, Director, Clinical Practice Operations at Halloran and featuring:
Aiden Flynn, Managing Director at Exploristics
Alan Menius, Chief Scientific Officer at Spencer Health Solutions, Inc.
Akil Jackson, MD, PhD., Director of Clinical Development at BergenBio
Hear their perspectives and experience on taking a holistic approach to study design to navigate complex patient populations and collect good quality data.
Upon registration you will receive a calendar invite with Zoom info.
