PBSS Free Online Symposium: RNAi Therapeutics: Discovery, Preclinical and Clinical Development

RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics are emerging as an important class of human medicines due to their ability to harness a natural cellular mechanism that can potentially regulate the expression of any RNA transcript. The first RNAi therapeutics recently entered commercial stage after gaining regulatory approval, and several others are currently in late stage clinical development. The successful translation of this promising concept into a therapeutic reality has been fundamentally enabled by the development of technologies for safe and efficient delivery of short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) to the target cells. The discovery, preclinical and clinical development of such technologies will be discussed in this symposium.
