Since 1983, this FASEB Science Research Conference on protein kinases and phosphorylation has promoted scientific excellence and serves as a premier platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge, unpublished research findings. Due to its wide scope, diverse speakers, and vibrant and timely scientific discussions, it is one of our most highly attended meetings.

Since 2007, this FASEB Science Research Conference (SRC) has been the only scientific meeting of its kind dedicated to exploring protein acetylation and deacetylation, from basic to translational research. The meeting has now evolved to converge the interests of researchers in all areas of dynamic protein acylation. 

For nearly 30 years, this important SRC has brought together scientists in diverse research fields and organ systems to discuss and collaborate on research involving how nutrients regulate metabolism and proteostasis. This year’s program will focus on nutrient sensing and signaling in both normal conditions and disease states, including obesity and chronic illnesses.
