The prospect of raising capital for early stage companies (pre-seed to Series A) in times of uncertainty always present challenges. Funders continue to invest in companies they have worked with previously, but for the first time entrepreneur or the novice team attracting the right type of capital, the process is longer and more arduous. But are there tried and true principles that if practiced, work for you in raising capital.
More than ever, developing relationships and pitching the right story is critical to obtaining the financing you need to start your company. Understanding the right type of investor for your company and the right type of capital is also critical. What you want for your company and the development of your technology depends on who your investors are and what they seek out their investment into you.
In this panel, you will hear from four types of investors as to what they look for in early stage companies, their approach to investing, and how they think about teams and technology.
